About the event
Experience the power and splendour of Handel’s Messiah in a performance that celebrates musical excellence, mentorship, and collaboration. This concert marks the culmination of a six-month outreach project delivered by Esprimo at Lord Wandsworth College, during which the ensemble has worked closely with and mentored the school’s pupil singers.
Joining Esprimo are the internationally acclaimed Hanover Band, who have provided parallel support and guidance to the college’s pupil instrumentalists. Together, they present one of the most beloved works in the choral repertoire, shaped by historically informed insight. From the radiant opening Sinfonia to the triumphant “Hallelujah” chorus and the work’s moving conclusion, this performance of Messiah is both a thrilling artistic event and a celebration of the transformative power of music education.
