Raphael Geldsetzer
Tenor
Tenor Raphael Geldsetzer began singing at the age of 8, when he joined the choir of Southwark Cathedral, London. Here he held the head chorister position for three years.
Alongside the Consort's alto Morven McIntyre, Raphael last year completed his second MA in Solo Voice Ensemble Singing (SVES) under Robert Hollingworth at the University of York. Prior to that he was based in Bristol, completing a BA & MA in modern languages, alongside singing in various choirs. These included Bristol Cathedral Choir, the choir of St Mary Redcliffe, and the Fitzhardinge Consort.
Raphael has recently moved down to the West Country, joining Wells Cathedral Choir as a Vicar Choral. When he is not singing, you can usually find Raphael on a train in an obscure corner of Europe.
